I really meant that more weight will be lost while fasting, if exercise is taken as well.
Any form of exercise/activity, whether mild/moderate/to extreme, will ultimately burn more calories and exhaust food reserves more quickly.
However, the more physical rest one takes while fasting, the more those reserves will be conserved and the less weight will therefore be lost.
