Re: Which vitamin C
Hello alive76,
I recommend sodium ascorbate which is ascorbic acid mixed with sodium bicarbonate (i believe a ratio of 2:1 but dont quote me) As you mentioned taking large amounts of ascorbic acid is acidic to the body and the sodium bicarbonate is meant to counteract this.
As to it interfering with the
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement , just take it away from the
Miracle-Mineral-Supplement . Depending on who you believe this will be 2,4 or 12 hours away. 2 or 4 tend to get quoted the most.
As for UK prices i really recommend you order from the US. I live in the UK as well and the prices of all supplements inc vit c are very high no matter where you buy from (as im sure you know). I order from iherb.com ad the prices are generally 1/4 of what UK prices are. With shipping and customs tax is still works out a lot cheaper.
I generally order a few items at once from iherb to tmake it worthwile.
THe sodium ascorate i am using now is this one
http://www.iherb.com/ProductDetails.aspx?c=1&pid=785&at=0
my first iherb order came to £140 and another £34 for customs tax = £174
i worked out if id bought the same items from nutricentre.com (the cheapest uk prices ive found) it wouldve come to over £500!
p.s. read this for sodium ascorbate info

p.p.s. synthetic vs natural. someone else can get into that, i agree natural is better (and i try to get my vitamins and minerals from green food powders) but i do not understand how you could do that with high doses of vit c as the amounts needed would so high (and expensive)
