Re: One more thing...

the problem is that the problem is not discussed in an educated manner in public. oil is a wonderful resource. much of what we have today is made from it. we dont want to burn it all because we need it for other things. the problem is money, but not the way people think. we could get to the point where the fuels we(the masses) so ignorantly focus on are nothing more than waste byproducts. its like the scam of soy. soybeans were once used to fix nitrogen and then plowed under. we have been talked into eating this waste product of agriculture and thus a market is created. look at the fools drinking soy milk and eating soy burgers. damn. same with fluoride. that stuff would cost a fortune to get rid of if it werent filtered through the herd's kidneys and absorbed by their bones instead.

there may very well be a grand long range plan. surely there is on the part of oil companies. but who is it designed to benefit? the stock holders of the oil companies, thats who. the smart folks have stock in energy companies, pharms and plastics. those guys are smart when it comes to making a buck.

but the smartest people are divorcing themselves from it all and living a different life not based on any currency or fuel but on producing with their knowledge and skill things that nurture themselves and others. that is the world to come. the sooner the better, i say.
