Re: KI and sterilizing milk?

I don't use much milk, some whipping cream here and there instead ala Atkins. This way you can use tiny amounts of heavy cream instead of large amounts of milk, drinking milk is not allowed.

Anyhow, I had done the sterilizing part ala Hulda Clark and as she states the darn critters keep growing and one needs to sterilize often.
A few times I sterilized then added Lugol's but to stop the growth the amount of Lugol's changes the taste.

Now to my question; in the past they used iodide and glass bottles for milk, how much iodide would be needed to stop/slow the critters and was it KI or NaI?

I can only get KI for wound cleaning but crystals are available online if anyone can vouch this method works.
