Tissue Mineral Analysis (TMA) aka hair analysis is a very reliable method of assessing mineral status... it has been invaluable to me at a very reasonable price... although there seems to be some debate on the accuracy of the test (lab issues) some labs have maintained accuracy I used trace elements in texas (traceelements.com)...

He also has many education materials available for purchase. Copper and zinc are well known to have antagonistic properties as well as iron and manganese. Mercury does has some inhibitory effects on copper as well.
