Well, carbohydrate foods are also bad. There isn't much left to eat!!!

But ya, animals are contaminated with toxins and the hormones and anti-biotics they raise them with.

We need to have a more natural food source.

Also, I would say it is a lovely thought to be a vegan and avoid eating things with eyeballs... no doubt about it, it is a humane way to go. However, we are not at that point yet where it would mean the difference between being humane and not humane, since we still condone torture and abuse pets. Plus, we need to eat and some people really do better with high protien and avoiding carb foods.

I vote for "hemp seed hearts" [no shell] - high protein and omega oils!!
