In fact a good dose of **unmitigated blah** could be an awakening!
all problems arise in the labeling and the consequent (or preliminary) reaction.
but the realer issue -as I heard it- is the seesawing between elation and blah--and the nagging (niggling)sense that elation is the realer (or "better") state.
And this is a universal issue--we all experience this--so I appreciate the posting. Mass experience doesn't make it "great" though, or necessarily any naturally-occurring "gateway".
All this suggests (the need to master) so much strategy. So much work.
Not exactly like a child's unfettered sleep imv...although I wish all children peaceful growing sleep...
