Re: Doggy diarrhea question for Invincible and others. + edit
Hi again dozier
I didn't make myself clear in my last message. Apologies. I meant to add that the issue of fear is a *tiny* part of who you are - and that part is represented in your dog. It's a part that you may not even be aware of (psychologists call this aspect of ourselves the "shadow") but your dog has picked up on it. Have you had digestive/gut problems in the recent past? It is linked with that.
I remember when I got my dog and over time, although he thrived in so many ways, there was something about him that I felt concern over - a type of nervous anxiety and fear/dislike of certain types of people. I tried various natural treatments and nothing worked. Eventually, as I delved into myself (and I am in the main part a very outgoing and extemely friendly type of person) I found there was a part of myself that didn't like certain types of people. When I corrected my energy over that, his anxiety (and diarrhea) ended. Interesting huh?
What I have come to realise is that everything in my world is my responsibilty (not my fault, but my responsibilty)
The concept of microcosm & macrocosm underlies the correspondence between the individual and the universe. Between man and dog. Between parent and child.
And with that in mind, I am able to change any type of outer condition by changing my inner condition. The world is an illusion, a mirror, and our dogs/pets (and children) are very tapped into our energy and mirror back to us some part of ourselves that we have not made peace with.
I have seen so many dogs display an illness or discomfort in their bodies that were representational of how their human companion was feeling. For example, my mother in law's dog had cancer when she was feeling particularly resentful over a course of events, and shortly after he died, she developed a similar cancer.
I spend so much time with my dogs. I see them as a mirror of me. When I thrive, they do.
Just something to consider, or meditate over.
Have a great day!
