1. No more caynenne. You may be overdoing this.

2. 3 times a day, add half a teaspoon of slippery elm powder to a little water and make a thick liquid and feed this to your dog.

3. Make the transition now to proper food. If you can not convert straight away to BARF, then consider some of the better moist, dog foods available. Ask Hanna .. I think the brand she uses is "Inova". Alternatively, just start adding a few raw eggs, a pinch of kelp, a dash of ACV, some salmon/sardines (even canned), some chicken wings, a few mushed up carrots/greens.

4. Make sure he has plenty of water to drink.

5. Offer some proper food. A dog know when to fast and when to eat, but the food must be whole or he looses his own sense of it.

6. I hope you understand that a dog (or any domesticated pet) can take on illnesses that are linked with their owners. It is through the close energetic link that a dog can start feeling your feelings.

There is something going on in you that makes you a fearful type of person. I don't know if what I will say to you will be clear, however, I'll try.

Your dog is showing you something in his body that is a potential for the future of your body. This is a small intestines problem that can lead to ulceritive colitis but is emotionally caused due to your fears about your own survival - a fear about not being able to get enough out of things/life. Are you withdrawn, quiet, lonely? Not living your life for you happily?

Can you let go, become flexible and let be? When you can make that change in your personality, your dog will be well.

So, stop being over anxious about everything. You don't need to be perfect. Others aren't perfect. Life doesn't need to be perfect.

I recommend you find some time just to sit and be quiet (like meditation) and just allow yourself to follow your breath - in and out. 15 minutes twice a day will help you and your dog enormously.

This is probably not the answer you sought, but I suggest you try it - just be calm and relaxed as much as possible for the next few days, no over doing anything, no criticiising others or yourself, no watching the news, no reading papers, no worrying about anything .. and you will see your dog responds to your changed energy. Not only that, you will feel better too.

My best to you
Maya
