"pleasure tolerance"
There's an article on the site of Vivation on something they call "pleasure tolerance". Although I would very much like Abraham to comment on this concept, for the moment we have only the opinion of Jim Leonard, who's anyway not too far from LOA as a way to see things.
Everyone has a pleasure tolerance, that depends on many factors, the way they've been grown up and others, and this pleasure tolerance can be expanded if you consciously let in more joy than your tolerance would allow.
Sometimes the reason why certain resistances get activated is that we've arrived pretty much to our limit of pleasure tolerance. If it is so, then it is more useful to focus on expanding that limit by consciously focusing on joy than working on the resistances themselves.
I'm thinking for example of Monica, who passed a phase of great exhilaration after learning about LOA, and recently all of a sudden bumped in some walls that were a bit coming out of the blue (correct me if I remember wrong). Could it be you were challenging badly your pleasure tolerance? a possible explanation. If it is so, the solution is just to continue to challenge that limit, more than to work on the resistances.

"Pleasure tolerance means being able to accept life as pleasurable only up to some limit. It means not allowing your life to get too good. If life becomes pleasurable beyond that limit, subconscious mechanisms are activated that bring the level of pleasure back down to the acceptable level.
Everyone has a pleasure tolerance. Some people can tolerate more pleasure than others."....and so on
