Re: alkaline breakfast ideas please!
Normally milk and oats are acidic, but since I started monkeying around with alkaline acid rebalancing, I have come to the conclusion that perhaps the combination of foods rather than their individual PH readings may well influence how these foods will effect individual PH levels. It is kind of like the glycemic index of foods, where some place too much emphasis on the individual values of foods as opposed to how the combined differing glycemic values of food ingredients effects their overall glycemic index and how consuming these combined foods will cause or prevent a insulin rush and subequent
Sugar crash.
I just started testing my Urine and Saliva PH and what I am beginning to find is that my PH seems to be more influenced by the combination of foods that I consume. For instance, when I consume cauliflower cooked with vegetable broth, turmeric, cayenne, and mustard seed and I consume that with rice and chicken, lamb, fish, or bison, I get highly alkaline urine and saliva readings even in cases where the chicken, lamb, and fish make up a significant portion of the meal.
As far as my breakfast goes, yes the milk, oats, and even prunes may be acidic, but given the overpowering influence of other highly alklaine ingredients, it is not surprising that I also get highly alkaline saliva and urine readings after consuming this mixture.
But then everybody is different and this only applies to me based on my observations. Your experience(s) may be quite different.
Best Regards.
