yes same with me, i crave carbs, sugar.. I'm not limiting this to candida though because treatment is only intestinal. For us who self inflicted Exfoliative Cheilitis, i think we caused an increased demand in the pancreas. The pancreas is producing higher amounts of insulin, which stimulates keratin growth for the lips protection. That explains the sugar/ bread cravings... we need glucose for the insulin demand. I do eat alot of sweet foods but it makes the cravings go away. Regarding allergy, that might be a trigger to the pancreas overproducing insulin. With fungal, that may be acquired through this whole dilemma with the lip. Balancing pancreas (insulin) functioning, while giving the lip an emollient so the skin can come off easy. and anti-fungal treatment... keratin growth(protection) is fueled by insulin and insulin is fueled by sugar/bread(glucose).
