Sugar..

Do any of you crave sugar?

I've researched that high insulin levels cause excess keratin/increase keratin growth/accelerated aging.... high insulin levels cause Sugar cravings.

On the opposite high glucose levels decrease keratin growth.(Glycerin)

i've read high glucose levels prevents rapid healing and reduces the ability to fight infection. It also causes the body to lose fluid, which in turn dries out the skin and leaves it more vulnerable to damage.

On the opposite topical application of insulin accelerates wound healing.

They cancel each other out, which confuses me. What would be the best combination?...

Read this.

Due to the chronic damage/irritation to the lips, there is an increased demand of keratin. And insulin controls how much to give. If you see it from my point of view, its difficult to work this out because they contradict each other. Both have their pros and cons.

I will dig deeper tomorrow.

Hope this helped some of you.
