have been following this thread which has digressed from the thoughts of the original poster........
It is widely known that Hypnotism does not allow someone else to control your mind. It does not allow anyone else to force you to do or say anything against your own will (God gave us free-will) so that argument doesn't really hold water.
As far as C S Lewis is concerned he became a Christian late in life and died a Christian.......unless you can prove otherwise?

As far as The Bible is concerned, many books that had been included prior to The Council of Nicea in 325 AD, were excluded, leaving only the 66 books that comprise our present Bible; this was a decision made by man and not by God. The Gospel of Phillip and The Gospel of Thomas are two books that spring to mind, therefore the reliability of The Bible is brought into question.
