Re: Why I recommend meat
Hmm, I agree with you on most things but I have to disagree on this.
Maybe it is different blood types (honestly, I dont have a clue what mine is)
but I feel much healthier eating vegetarian than I ever did eating meat.
Sure I have a number of health problems, but they were in place long before I
was vegetarian, and have been getting progressively better (slowly but surely) since Ive been working on myself with the practices we learn about here at curezone.
I think one reason you see a lot of vegetarians looking sick is they load up on grains, too much soy, dairy, junk food, etc.
I eat some tofu, but I dont eat any of that fake meat crap, and I am almost completely (slip up here and there) on a gluten free diet. Ive been much healthier since then. I also have a hemp protien smoothie in the mornings. That has made a big difference. My blood sugar is stable now, and I feel strong as I did when I ate meat. Stronger really, because I am proud of my lifestyle and the fact that Im taking no part in the horrifically cruel and unneccessary meat industry.
And as far as big strong animals, what about gorillas? As far as I know they are mostly, if not all vegan. Im sure maybe they eat a bug here and there (in the research Ive done studies have shown their diet is about 3% bugs, but most of their diet consists of fruit, leaves and seeds) but its not much.
In my opinion, unhealthy vegetarians are eating too MUCH of the wrong things rather than too little meat. I would imagine it harder to be vegan. I cant comment on it much because I never have done it. I eat cage free eggs, mostly the yolks, which I like raw or very lightly cooked (Ive never been sick from doing this either). I eat a little cheese too but mostly just as a condiment.
People have told me I looked "sick" and it was because of being a vegetarian. As a vegetarian, Im pale, thin, and dont have very much muscle structure. As someone who ate 3-4 steaks a week, and chicken breast all the other nights, I was pale, thin, and didnt have very much muscle structure. I think "looking unhealthy" is about many many other factors rather than meat or no meat.
Just my thoughts! :-)
