? for ya, Doc...

I am not trying to debate anything here. I just am trying to understand.

You say that a person needs protein. I have read if a person is a vegetarian, their need for protein is far less necessary than for a meat eater.

In this moment, I am vacillating between not eating meat, although I have had shrimp several times in the past month. I had stopped eating meat back in July 2007...except for occasional usage (like 3 times) until Christmas Eve. I had some turkey then...actually it kind of set off the desire for meat again.

At any rate, beginning Ash Wednesday continuing for 30 days, if not all of Lent, I will be doing a fast. I am determining during this time what I desire my eating habits to become, after the fast. In this moment, I am considering 75% raw and not sure about cooked vegetarian or what, for the other 25%.

Thus, am inquiring on your thoughts about the protein theory.

Thanks in advance. Is it snowing up your way? We got a few inches down here, near the 'Motor City'.

Peace,
Beth
