Sorry to barge in, but I just wanted to clarify something about buckwheat. While it seems not everyone can eat it, many do fine wit it. This is probably because it is technically a grass, not a grain, and thus less candida-feeding properties. I also eat a fair amount of protein - it calms cravings as well as helps keep me strong, like you suggested.
