Re: I think America needs to learn how to think
North California liberal intellects?
I would like to point out that there is a difference between knowledge and wisdom. Although they frequently overlap, at least to an extent, because a wise person generally values learning, they are not the same thing. People can be very intelligent and well educated, and yet not be wise. Other people can be wise and not well educated, at least in terms of degrees.
Your conclusion that educated people tend to be liberal, as an assumption or an observation, does not mean that liberal is the best or "right" way.
You are right, ignorance and stupidity make easy targets to deceive. However, the realm of education is an easy way to brainwash and yes, deceive through knowledge.
Knowledge puffs up a person, in other words it makes him proud. And when people are proud they cannot or will not acknowledge truths that are right under their noses.
