I did not interpret that as a call indicating we don't have enought guns, but that we don't have enough minds sufficiently educated in understanding the how, when and why to properly use them. It doesn't help that there also seems to be not enough minds educated to understand the amendment that itself acknowledges the right of the prime why, how and when the people are to make proper use of their firearms and their militias. Militias, by the way, have the charter to do what they are to do o right here at home. That abomination over there in the middle east trampling all over other people's homes? Call it what you will, including deeply deceived, but a legitimate militia it is not.
Teenagers are certainly too often sterling examples but unfortunately not the only stirling examples of how people in the driver's seat these days routeinly constitutes a hundred or more horsepower of assault weapon on wheels. Meanwhile, legislators continue to legislate away privileges. So what? That's what privileges are and that is expressly why they are made to be handed out by legislators one moment, and subsequently rescinded at a later time.
