Re: Cancer and Dr William Kelley

Not do disagree with your post, but there are some significant aspects about what Kelley did that might be lost or dismissed by the analysis.

#1 - Kelley did what he did - cure himself of a cancer that orthodoxy either wouldn't or couldn't;

#2 - he did #1 over 30 years ago during a time when there was no public internet and for all practical purposes there was no body of public assistance/advocacy nor public information nor public interest nor public funding to support a person in their effort to pursue an alternative to cut / burn / poison. In other words, he had all the odds stacked against him, he truly did go it alone, he blazed a trail so to speak, one that may not be a perfected trail for all to follow in the same steps *, and lived to tell about the ordeal long after the fact. Included in the overall William Donald Kelley cancer odyssey, he also gave any person interested a renewed look at what happens to this kind of person, the kinds of abuses this kind of person is likely to confront beyond just some piddly little cancer they conquered, at the hands of a thoroughly corrupted, thoroughly broken establishment apparatus who does not take kindly to a person healing themselves of cancer who then takes it upon themselves to inform the public of such. In other words, William Donald Kelley fought two cancers - the one inside his own body and the one inside the massively larger body of Amercia's establishement. It was the latter cancer that kept coming back to infect and reinfect the life of William Donald Kelley.

#3 - he unwound the mystery of cancer long guarded and lorded over by orthodoxy and put it into simple, understandable terms - it is a systemic disease of the person, the formation and sustaining of which is in large part a matter of lifestyle habits, and it is NOT merely a tumor to be treated separate from the person the way orthodoxy insists;

#4 - on the way to #3 Kelley taught himself first, and subsequently many others, the principle of using nutritional foods as medicine;

#5 - on the way to #4, Kelley taught himself first, and others second, the principles of flushing AND getting back into proper operating order, the vital organs - to include the channels of elimination, as a critical step that must be first established and then maintained in order for a person to have success in putting their body into the condition it needs to rid itself of cancer. Outside of a Max Gerson, whom Kelley himself admitted to having adopted & adapted some of his own methods from, who else was going around telling people in the late 60s and early 70s that they can improve their health - perhaps even heal cancer, through the use of enemas, bowel cleansing, Liver Flushing and eating nutrient-dense foods? There a relative few, but not many ;

#5 - Kelley taught people the value of using orthodoxy for what little they are worth as it concerns cancer treatment - as a diagnostic service ONLY for confirming that the cancer is improving and or gone after following an alternative protocol. Orthodoxy is as tighlty locked into denial as any entity on this planet, so this step in part involves an element of entertainment value for the truly alternative-minded cancer survivor. It is this kind of situation that is likely to cause orthodoxy to remark "oh my, you've had a miracle, your termial cancer that we previously confirmed through biopsy has mysteriously gone into remission....lucky you".

* Kelley may not have realized this himself at the time, or he may have, I dunno, but people ill with diseases need to untrain themselves from the knee-jerk reaction of always wanting to compare themselves and the results they get during the course of a given treatment/protocol to other people and whatever results other people experienced from the same protocol. We people are similar but not identical. It is this aspect of human nature that the analysis of the Kelley protocol may be overlooking the most. Clearly the Kelley protocol was a smashing success for Kelley himself. Nobody should expect the Kelley protocol, as followed strictly by other people, to reap same benefits over the same timeframe... that kind of assembly-line approach attempting to reduce treatment down to a scientific certainty is the domain of orthodoxy. Better yet, even a person who does not want to follow the Kelley protocol to the letter in treating their cancer, even a person who desires to follow any other alternative protocol out there will beyond doubt experience benefits in the course of that protocl if they also include A) flushing, cleansing & nourishing their liver, UT / Kidneys/bladder and bowells on a regular basis, while also B) giving their body the wide varieties of foods & liquids & exercise necessary for the body to extract nutrition from these, assimilate, grow stronger in the process while continuing to rid waste & morbid matter, which in turn increases the body's own own collective built-in cancer-fighting capacity.

William Donald Kelley was a pioneer of alternative cancer treatment largely during a time when the enviornment in the U.S.A. was such that it was a great time for people at large to not be about being a pioneer of alternative cancer treatment. Regardless of what a study of his protocol might reveal with respect to other people having followed parts of OR all of it, the total body of his work speaks for itself. Anyone who may ever want to follow an alternative approach to cancer should remember William Donald Kelley and be thankful for the efforts he made, the knowledge he revealed, and abuses endured during the course of his efforts of revealing knowledge.
