Re: ongoing cold???

Everyone talks about "detox" reactions but I don't really think that anyone really knows what's happening during those events. 

I had a cold and fever during the first week to 10 days of beginning MMS which started after I began.  Worst cold in several years.  It's very common and you will see threads all over the MMS board with similar stories.

Was it detox?  I doubt it.  One of the few times in my life that I had to take antibiotics, but I did and it cleared it up.  Antibiotics won't clear up "detox."

Nobody understands how the body operates and all that posters to MMS like myself can report in reality, is their own personal experiences and opinions - nothing medically evaluated, or if it is - it's very rare.  Even the chair of the medical department of Oxford University made the statement that medicine doesn't know how the body functions (see Living Proof, Gearin-Tosh about how he cured terminal bone marrow cancer).  Our body has many wonderful defenses that medicine doesn't understand, including the ability to wall off or even encapsulate germs and viruses.  I have living tuberculosis cells in my body from TB that I contracted more than 70 years ago.  I have never been medically treated for TB but have been medically diagnosed with having it and having had it.  My body created tumors in my lungs with the live TB germs on the inside which has blocked it off from the rest of my body.  (By the way, this is a common body reaction to TB.)  This has been described to me by medical doctors and explains the tumors on my lungs.  If MMS breaks down these protective walls, it can easily let all sorts of bacteria and viral infections loose.  I'm not worried about it accessing the tumors in my lungs where I carry the TB - it just won't make it that far, but what other protections (besides the benefits) has MMS destroyed?  Nobody can answer that.

I continue MMS at about 6 X 2 and will do so until I either see benefits, or more adverse reactions.
