Doctor prescribed me some meds - Advice please

Glaxony - you mentioned that my visit to the doctor would result in me being prescribed some anti-biotics. Well....your crystal ball works.

I explained my situation and then showed her the stains on my pillowcase where my ears have been leaking and causing yellow and dark red stains. In return, she prescribed me some amoxicillin and also took a swab - for which I will need to ring back on Friday to get the results.

Now, I know this problem is parasite related, but, should I still take these amoxicillin just in-case my ears have become infected with some other bacteria?

But, before you answer that, take into consideration that today I have purchased some more grapefruit seed extract, which already seems to have stirred things up in that area. Its making it itchy/tickly.

I'm not too fussed about ascertaining which ingredient clears the problem, so would you advise that I take the Grapefruit-Seed-Extract and the prescribed anti-biotics?

Another question I have is relating to the swab she took. It looked yellow, orange even a bit brown on the end of the cotton bud. She said she will get it tested to make sure she has prescribed me the right medication. But, im just wandering, is there any way that these tests will show it as being parasites or parasite related?

Surely they will not just say "we dont know what the hell it is" - and no way can they say its something that its not.

I look forward to your responses.
