I took ampicillin in the distant past and ended up needing repeated rounds, which completely messed up my digestive system.
I'm not a fan of
Antibiotics and avoid them at all costs. There is a price to pay as they also wipe out the good bacteria. If you continue with the ampicillin, you might consider probiotics to re-introduce good flora.
Have you tried using a netti pot with oil of oregano or saline?
I take copious amounts of vitamin c when fighting an infection (best taken with a mineral buffer like in the form of calcium ascorbate), with good results.
When treating an infection holistically, it's important to treat any microbe-killing protocol like you would anbiotics, taking them at regular intervals throughout the day for an extended period of time. Olive leaf extract, oil of oregano and
