I never thought about that. this chapstick has probably been around for a few years. HERB PHARM makes the Violet Extract. When I first started using it, I had my herb man make some up for me for a different problem I was having. I put it on my face and inside my lips and gums. It won't hurt you to use it internally. Then I started buying it from our local Herb store. I met another lady that had PD real bad. Her face had bad cracks on her cheeks, and a lot of scaring. She was told to use the tropicals and the Antibiotics that didn't help. She looks wonderful now that I turned her onto Violet Extract. Because she was so bad it took her longer to get rid of it, but it was very worth it to her. Thanks for your input. Tweet
