Re: Being Right at the Expense of Being Happy
Hi Maya,
Iwent to a Capuchin centerlast yesterday to drop off some blankets. A friend went with because she had some coats. The actual Capuchin drop off site was closed because we went after work. There was a center called Solanus Casey center. He was a Capuchin priest, they are trying to get Sainthood.
At any rate, after dropping the coats and blankets off, my friend and I walked through a room that gave information on Solanus Casey (born Barney Casey). His story was interesting in how he came to become a priest. From his story though he had some words, they had on the wall.
I found this to be a great one: "Man's greatness lies in being faithful to the present moment" and I see the LOA in this quote as well. There wer a few others that I didn't get down that just made it all piece together...Life and LOA... It has been here since the beginning of time. We humans just seem to have got 'stuck' somewhere, so it seems!
Oh and above one of the jobs Barney (before he became a priest and was called Solanus) had, the sentiment was asked: "How well do you recognize God's image in everyone you meet?" We all are God's image. We all are made for Greatness. It is time to REmemeber.
Have a great day!
Love,
Beth
