Re: Alkaline water, worth the $'s?

Yeah, if I were staying here I would look into it. But I have many other reasons for leaving, so I'm planning on moving in the next couple of months. I tried leaving before the holidays, but I didn't find anyplace I liked.

The problem with the water here is that it smells funny. I'm not sure what that's about, but even the filter on my system doesn't get rid of that. That's why it's OK for cooking with, but I don't drink it straight. It also remains very acid, even when I run it through the highest "alkalizing" level. That usually means that there aren't many minerals in the water to begin with. But there's something funky in the water here. And because I don't own the house, I'm not going to bother to find out what it is.

If I have this problem in my next house, I will definitely buy a pre-filter.
