Re: Alkaline water, worth the $'s?

Know how important it is to drink extra water and wondering if anone has a water alkaline system. They look cool (!) but the better ones cost around $1000, worth it?

JAB

I had been considering those Alkaline Water systems but I find so much conflicting information about water. Hulda Clark even claims if the water is South instead of North magnetized it is harmful.

I had been using a water distiller exclusively but some claim distilled water leaches minerals from the body and absorbs carbon dioxide to form a little carbonic acid. Others claim you can't absorb the minerals in regular filtered water until they have been processed by a plant anyway and that those types of minerals are actually harmful. They clog kidneys, tax the liver, deposit in tissues and joints etc etc.

So now I use both a water distiller and a Berkey water filter. The Berkey is much faster uses no electricity and is about the best filter type available. It doesn't remove the minerals so it is measurably more alkaline depending on the water source. I use the Berkey for things that would not be practical to use the water distiller like cooking, ice etc.
