Quite a few people have reported transient increase in heart arrythmias/palpitations with the use of I, there's info in our FAQ's. Iodine is needed for a smooth heartbeat, and the arrythmias cease. But this isn't the Iodine forum:)
I agree with the 3 protocols idea. Also, though, you're going to find that there will be a lot of people that just want to "take Miracle-Mineral-Supplement " and have all of their problems magically disappear. If I may be so bold, I would suggest an emphasis on well-functioning eliminative channels and also companion nutrients.
With all the oxidation going on, I would imagine that there would be a need for anti-oxidants, especially with long-term use... ? Also, I would imagine that electrolytes/minerals need to be replenished, especially when folks are reporting diarrhea/vomiting... BTW, I'm sure that you all have addressed some of this already, I haven't read all the posts.
We have found that those that do NOT have clean eliminative systems have trouble with supplementing I. Those that are willing to lay the groundwork reap great benefits. Good, clean diet, first and foremost. All newbies should report to Moreless' forum for basic dietary wisdom...:)
I'm very interested in the Science behind this. I still don't understand the various forms of chlorine/ide/ite. Chlorin(d)e is a halogen, like iodine. I'm wondering what Miracle-Mineral-Supplement will do to Iodine stores.
And, chloride is essential, like iodine. And, white blood cells manufacture chlorine...
