Re: Alkaline water, worth the $'s?

I have a jupiter melody, and they are expensive. I really appreciate the water it makes, but I'm not sure it is the most cost effective way to alkalize your water.

You can alkalize your water by simply adding 2 or 3 drops of unactivated Miracle-Mineral-Supplement to a liter - this should raise the ph of a liter of water to around 10.

Prill beads also condition water, but I am not 100% certain that they will raise the ph. I have read conflicting information about this, and I would love to get some and test the ph myself. Since they only cost about $5 per bag, this is a very inexpensive option.

The other way to condition your water is to use a mineral complex that raises the ph ... there are a few out there. I'm not certain if Concentrace raises the ph ... maybe you could ask on the Water Forum or here in our forum.
