Re: Help:UT, fast and ACNE
hello livingwaters! heheh! it felt quite heroic at the time! the first 3-5 days are the hardest - once i got to 24 days (18 UT & 6 H2O) it was super easy!!
i had
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome for 2.5 years (which was actually highly resistant liver flukes...) but then for the last 18 months i have just had this REALLY W_E_I_R_D symptom whereby i would get incredibly puffy every time i moved - and could change up to 3 dress sizes in a day! sometimes my feet would get so puffy that i couldn't wear shoes. and it was completely irrespective of what i ate, drank or did (although worse when i exercised) - it was like i was metabolising air or something! it would make me feel really nauseous and heavy and *bleahk*. of course, no medical diagnosis! and no help from a whole army of different new age healers and complementary modalities. during those 18 months, i had done about 5
Liver Flushes and 2 X 3 day UT fasts, long juice fasts etc but nothing worked for AGES until this one just recently.
my lymphatic system was hellishly sluggish - i did everything from dry skin brushing to ice baths (i felt like a mental patient in the 1950s!) but nothing worked, my legs and arms would always look really mottled, as though i was living in the antarctic or something. i guess the lymphatic system is usually just symptomatic of something else?? but the good news is - that was one of the first things to clear up and now my limbs just look pretty normal (and after 9 days of refeeding have stayed good!). & with regards to your kidneys, the UT and the fast has certainly helped with my urinary frequency (i used to wee like an old woman!). so i would certainly think it would help your kidneys - although you may initially feel some discomfort...? i did.
i also had a few weird things happen - i did a 3 day UT fast initially which i broke on the evening of the 4th day as i had an appointment and was expecting my period. i started my long fast 3 days later when my period finished - but then got it again 6 days into my 2nd fast! hmmm, very strange! but i kept fasting and it was all fine. also, the 2nd fast, i had
colonic irrigation the day before and this made it much easier - probably because it stops digestion in the bowel, so the hunger is greatly reduced when you start the fast. i didn't do enemas or anything once i started, i just let me body do everything in it's own way.
it sounds like you probably wouldn't need to fast for very long to cure your symptoms?? i am hoping that my fast in the new year will also be considerably shorter...!
good luck! and have yourself a merry christmas!
best wishes,
...lulu...
