It sounds a lot like kidney issues to me. Here is a link that may be helpful. But diagnosis is so complicated. I hope you can find an excellent diagnostitian.

Don't accept those previous conclusions. If the doctor's spent under 10 minutes checking him out and just ran a couple of routine tests, you need to find someone more thorough to work him up. Blessing to you both!
