Re: Wow! Interesting!

Well, I suppose it depends upon who you talk to.

But, if you have a candida issue of any kind, then fruit juice in my opinion is not the right thing for you. It is a very concentrated form of fruit sugars, and feeds Candida quite nicely.

If you think about it, the body is meant to eat fruit, not drink it. We human beings are great at taking something that is healthy in its natural state, and distilling/processing it until it is both hardly recognizeable and non-nutritious. This is not to say that there are not healthy elements to fruit juice, there are; but there are also some healthy elements to beer, and probably to hard hard liquor too.

If you have problems with Candida or fungus, you should avoid fruit juices, even if pure, whether store-bought or juiced yourself. And you may want to think about avoiding actual fruit, except lemons, limes or grapefruits, for 2 or 3 months while you detox. Like I said though, this last is a matter of controversy; my own experience and intuition seems to confirm to me that sweet fruits are too much until the body is alkalized, and then only in moderation.

Fruit juices will always be too sweet to be healthy I think, and you will know this because when you are alkalized they will "feel" far too sweet to you.
