Re: Pt Deux Regarding Spirituality and meat eating

These posts of yours seem so off center, convoluted, that I am surprised
no one has disputed them. I am no bible scholar but will share
what I have been given while pondering these posts.

When Jesus asked Peter, Do you love me more than these?
I don't think He was speaking of fish.
At one time Peter asserted that if all others deserted Jesus he would not.
He would follow Jesus to prison and even to death.
Jesus predicted peters denial and it happened.
I think Christ asked Peter this question concerning Peters love for him
three times to counter the three denials. Then he reaffirmed Peters
declaration that indeed Peter would follow Him even unto death.
