the goiter belt was there before we europeans got to these shores in great numbers. my theory is that the upper tier of north america was stripped of iodine by the last ice age, both by scraping the topsoil off and by washing of the soil with the melting.

i love the teachings of MH looking at breatharianism and fruitarianism. it is highly instructional in seeing where we are at by knowing where we have come from. there is no going back there, though. not until those rocks come. untill this planet is cleansed, we have an entirely different environment than what used to be. all we can do is get back to as natural as possible. there are no uncontaminated places on earth now. that makes all the difference. living the way MH does is impossible for millions and millions, and even he doesnt live perfect. the world is long past perfect.
