Re: confused
Hey Serafina:
I like what 56350 has to say. Take on a new hobby, paint or help old ladies.. whatever pleases you the most.
As I said to you before communicate, communicate, communicate. I am a firm believer of communicating directly, if I say a few lines I am just saying exactly that, no hidden messages, if the other party is going to try and read in between the lines the communications gets jammed, misunderstandings arise. Same way if someone talks with hidden messages, I do not receive those messages, unfortunate, but that is my trait. So simply put, say exactly what you mean and mean exactly what you say. Life becomes so simple. This is more applicable to us boys....for Erik. It is hard for us to express ourselves. So asking a lot of questions help both parties. A statement could sound accusatory, but the same thing phrased as question does not. i.e. "You took my pen from here" OR Did you take my pen from here?" sounds so much better.
I can give you a fresh example. I received this package in the mail, no sender name. I opened the package, it is a book, "Namesake", my wife got curious, but does not say anything. I looked puzzled because I did not know who sent it to me. So I said this is amazing, it came from Newtown, Massachusetts, I do not know anyone there. I do remember a conversation with someone about this film, but cannot remember who. A few days went buy, today we both came home from work, and I said I figured out who sent me the book, one of my clients, Bob..... My wife immediately said that she has read it, my daughter has read it and my son, we all have read it many years ago, it is not a big deal, we already have this book. So I said good then I can give this one to someone else, our book must be here on the book case. She said, anh! you think you will find it here? Fat chance, It is a few years old and dashes out. NOT A GOOD COMMUNICATION. ---hidden messages?? may be.
The ideal small talk would have been....I figured out who sent me the book...Bob...
Response....Great, the mystery is over OR I am glad you figured it out.OR Why do you think he sent it to you? OR I am wondering why this book? OR Well, you could give one away to someone. NO HIDDEN MESSAGES. BOTH PARTIES FEEL GOOD.
If you could give more details to exactly what does Erik do to make you feel he has gone in the abyss, I can try to help. Project love and it shall return.
I love your old time Italian town. I think humans are a very social animals and need to live in groups, my forefathers did.
By the way I am your brother from many generations ago. I took part in National Geographic's Genographic project where they ask for you DNA and figure out where you come from, guess what? My line comes from Italy. I always had affinity for Italians.
Have fun in Mexico.
Well, CIAO Bella.
