Re: getting mirena today

Each person is different. I will be getting mine removed tomorrow after almost 5 years. I had no problems the first 3 years. I started having problems 2 years ago and after various tests then finding this forum I have decided to have it removed to determine if it is the cause of my problems. A friend of mine has a Mirena and she will tell everyone to get it. She got it 4 years ago. She decided it was the best thing for her since she couldn't remember to take the pill and had 3 kids by 22. She has already scheduled to have it replaced at her next yearly exam. Hopefully you will have the same experience she is having.
