I find it impossible to avoid carbs so I've worked out the best way to eat them. I'm hypoglycemic (low blood sugars) so have to have them. Also I get hungry a lot and eat a lot, veggies and the amount of meat I can afford wouldn't fill me up.
I eat quinoa, millet and buckwheat and the occassional baked potatoes when I'm too ill to cook a proper meal. I bake my own bread with buckwheat flour and coconut milk in a bread machine and I use coconut oil instead of spreads. It's lovely! Oh I also read that strangely enough sweet potatoes are actually good if we have candida so I have those sometimes, but I can't remember why they're good, something in them.
Coconut oil kills candida and oil of oregano capsules also do that plus parasites I've found.
