My post above was not clear so I rephrase it:
It is true that candida cause malabsorption of the foods we eat, for 2 reasons
- the little buggers eat part of what we eat
- the irritated intestinal lining leaks
So there is an overall loss in terms of optimal nutrition, in terms of calories as well as vitamins. But as far as I know, B vitamins should not be affected more than the other vitamins, all the more so since B vitamins are present in many foods, and should even be more present in a candida diet than in a regular diet.
Is supplementing the answer? I am not sure, because malabsorption should be affecting the content of your intestines the same way, wether it's foods or sups.
