Re: not sure where to post this question
You can do an elimination diet, but it takes time. Divide suspect foods into groups and eliminate them from your diet for four to six weeks, then slowly reintroduce them and see how you react. Some groups to consider: grains, gluten containing foods (usually grains like wheat), dairy, meats and animal products, Nightshade family-tomatoes, potatoes, eggplants, bell peppers etc., Cruciferous family-cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts etc., Corn and corn products, and, of course, refined foods.
I cannot tolerate many raw foods either. I prefer to steam my veggies rather than boil or roast, or (heaven forbid) microwave them. I am not perfect and do eat canned and even nuked food when there is no other choice, but I do much better with cooked foods than raw. However, I cannot completely give up raw fruits, I love them and just try to be careful and not eat too much at one time.
You can possibly overcome a lot of
food sensitivities through cleansing the liver and colon, plus taking a good quality digestive enzyme. Sometimes it is not the food, but the body that is too congested or imbalanced to properly digest them.
