Re: seems like you want to make a war...
I wouldn’t take what the dictionary says as gospel.
The agnostic is one who is just saying that he doesn’t know whether a god exists or not. He is simply being honest in saying, “I don’t know.” It is being true to oneself… and that is the best position that anyone can take for themselves… to be unpretentious and honest with oneself.
On the other hand… both the theist and the atheist are being dishonest. They are accepting belief and borrowed knowledge as the truth. They are deceiving themselves and others. They are pretending that they know… and they have the answers... for not only themselves but for everyone else as well.
The theist and the atheist are on the same coin. One believes there is a god… the other believes there is no god. Both are caught up in belief. Both are caught up in the dimension of mind, of thinking… the dimension of ego. Both are deceiving themselves. And trying to deceive others by propounding there ideas in a similarly hostile and egoistic manner as you are.
The two dimensions of thinking and reality do not ever meet. You are just shooting arrows from the dimension of mind, thoughts, beliefs and ego. Your arrows will not hit any real target. Only those that are identified with their egos will feel they are in some way hit by your words.
What you are saying in so many words is: “I am holier than thou, I have experienced more than you have and because of this you should touch my feet in gratitude. You should accept what I say as gospel truth, just by my saying so.”
Who cares how the earth was created? Thinking about such things will not help one with their inner growth. It will not help in anyway in becoming more conscious. It is what is happening at the present moment that has any reality to it. Thinking about such things will keep one out of touch with this reality. Engaging in such nonsense will take one more and more into thinking about such things and further and further away from oneself... away from knowing oneself. Thinking about such things will only help one’s ego to grow more fat, inflated and overburdened with such useless knowledge. The reality of the ‘here’ and ‘now’ will be lost in the process.
Your aggressive approach of forcing your ideas on others will have very little success. It is suggested that a more subtle approach be used to make a point. Round off your edges and, then, what you have to say may be a bit easier for others to digest. Force feeding your ideology upon others, and most will put up their defenses.
Quite frankly the way you are going on, it sounds that you are in a kind of hell already, in spite of your so-called NDE. Which seems questionable to me at this point. For if you really have had such an ego shattering experience as you claim, it surely would be reflected in your word choice. It seems to me that you have a fear of not being taken seriously… and you are becoming too serious about. Becoming too serious about anything is a dis-ease. Lighten up and enjoy the journey. Everyone’s path is different, as it should be.
Peace.
