Yes I am making an appointment today. This thing has got to go!

I didn't really realize there were so many side effects to the prednisone. A lot of them so similar to Mirena. I am on a very, very low dose (5mg a day but I probably only take one pill a week against my dr. recommendation, she wants me to take it every day).

I did have terrible PMS before Mirena. I have taken Ortho-tricyclin and Ortho- Micronor in the past but developed a condition called Erythema nodosum (http://www.medicinenet.com/erythema_nodosum/article.htm) due to estrogen. I had to stop taking BC pills after that.

One thing I find so strange is how all the pain I had disappeared while I was pregnant.

I am going to give my body a chance to "recover" from all of this but if I don't see some improvement in a few months I will take some of your advice.

I am so happy I found this site and now maybe I can get back to living a better life. :)
