Yes, Ron Paul is a Republican for a very good reason

Sorry to rain on your ill conceived message, but Ron Paul is a Repulican for a very good reason:  Because there is no way to be elected unless you are a Republican or a Democrat - the system is as rigged against outside competition as mainstream medicine is against natural alternatives.

Ron Paul is actually a Libertarian.  But Republican is obviously the best choice for him of the two major parties IF you look at what Republican is SUPPOSED to stand for.  A true Republican is one who supports our country being the federal republic we were founded to be - where the invidual is supreme with God given unalienable rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  States are supposed to be independent servants for the common good of their citizens and the federal government is supposed to be merely the servant of the collective individuals and states, deriving it's powers from the consent of the citizens it represented and looked out for instead of making the citizens it's servants with an endless list of laws, codes and decrees that tell them how they are supposed to act in virtually every aspect of their lives and livelihoods.

If Ron Paul were what Republicans have by and large become, he would never take the stances he does against the war or suppression of natural supplements, because those serve the power elite.  And for the record, the neo-cons hate Ron Paul and are doing everything they can to bury and trivialize his message.

Socialism sounds so nice on paper.  In reality it is a system that enslaves the people to the government.  We dont' need more of the same old tired and failed programs that take away our freedoms and dignity and force us to depend on the state, we need to regain our freedom.

Ron Paul is the person who can do that - the only one.  And the soft spoken former obstetrician who had delivered over 4,000 babies and cared for them and their mothers is nothing if not someone who cares for all human beings.
