Agree, in post ww2 germany one general controlled over 4200 media outlets, radio, print, bullitins, rags, etc.
in vietnam during war there were only TWO newpapers for a population of 40 million, one paper the north vietnamese paper and the othe paper the south vietnamese paper. the newspaper owners baited the north vs. south into war. very controlled media
by comparison, norway with a population of 4 million has over 9000 independant media outlets, newspapers,journals, bullitins, rags etc.
in bosnia more recently, genocidal milosevich took over the only bosnian air media, tv, and banks and milosevich advertised to serbians, kill your bosnian neighbors, to the serbians 24/7 via media. that is why milosevich went on trial at the hague as a war criminal.
Best to have tons of independant info as we have on info highway, the internet. A clean system thinker can discern truth. Truth has a pitch, a resonance. Lies are tinney and must be repeated 24/7 to soft mind control targeted groups. I like to verify info with this check: it this info verifiable as an ongoing process in the universe. If yes, I agree, if no, I discard it, or may wait to see if it is later verifiable as an ongoing process in the universe.
