Yes. I've had two bouts of inflamed rectum since I began taking Iodine in January. Both of them resolved without medical intervention. It seems like, they both occurred when I stopped taking Lugols "cold turkey" to give my body a break. I'm now thinking it may be important for me to taper off, but I have not experimented with this information yet. In my case, it could be the shock of no Iodine causing constipation, and constipation causing the inflamation.
