That's wonderful that you make the sacrifice for your kids. Usually they appreciate it alot looking back at your example and how you helped them after the teen years. My neices husband also is a stay at home dad and the kids get the time and attention they need, as mom does not help out in that area or in household duties, and the kids need guidance and love. I am so glad she found him for the kids sake. Any negative comment from your wife can quickly be replaced by 2 positive comments about yourself and if you need too, continue to repeat them till the horrible negative voices stop. I believe Proverbs says the " the wise woman builds up her household but the foolish one tears it down with a word." You can replace the upbuilding words in your mind without ever her knowing, and keep smiling. You never know, maybe your wife will start looking at the positives and come to a great appreciation for all you do. "Love hopes all things" the Bible says also.
