Re: getting the flukes out?
When I found curezone, not long ago, I had been through a lot of medical tests, including 3 ultra sounds; cat scan; hida scan- which showed the gall bladder only functioning at 5% capacity- gall bladder surgery, where they also did a liver biopsy; oodles of blood tests for hepatitis etc;
It hasn't just been a physical struggle- because feeling awful and knowing you feel awful, and thinking medical Dr's should be able to find SOMETHING, and still spending money with no answers, also affects you mentally and emotionally. And, because medical Dr's don't find anything in all their tests...there must not be anything wrong with you, right? They can put you on anti-depressants, which they told me they could do...it could just be that you weigh more than you should...I was told it was just a "fatty liver, go home and lose 20#"...
Even having a supportive husband, he will now admit that he was beginning to think I was a hypochondriac, but he also knew I didn't feel good. It was frustrating for him as well. I missed out on life events that I would never have missed out on had I felt well.
Finding the liver fluke problem, has been a relief in a lot of ways. It's not fun knowing you're full of liver flukes, and knowing that it's going to take a good year, or more, to get my liver, and insides, cleaned out and healing..I have definite, internal wounds that I can feel that I now know have been caused by the
parasites eating on me. They've been sore for a long time, that was why I was trying to find out what it was, I've hurt, and it's worstened.
I have had good advice from Dr. Sutter, from the "Ask Dr. Sutter" forum. I had done 4 liver flushes, which I shouldn't have done before deworming- and got a lot of large, green stones out. Dr. Sutter told me that as long as there are green stones, there are parasites, and he told me that as long as I had parasites, which he was sure I had, that my liver would never heal.
He recommended the Barefoot Herbalist dewormer, which he had had good luck with himself..and sure enough, I started passing liver flukes immediately. One thing I am sure has helped me not have alot of the die off symptoms, is that I had been colon cleansing, and keeping the colon working well, and had started doing that about a month before starting the dewormer. I read of people that are badly constipated and deworming, and I can not imagine what that would be like! What a horrible thought- killing worms and they are staying compacted in the bowel. What also happens is that the liver is filter that cleans out toxins, and if the toxins aren't passed out of the bowel, they are reabsorbed through the liver again. The bugs cause ammonia- I can't imagine what dead bugs, compacted in the bowel are giving off. The Alternative Med Dr. I found, got me started on the colon cleansing- and the importance of getting the bowels working 2-3x a day, easily, no straining. It has got to be one of the keys for helping to not have the bad die off symptoms you were talking about, along with liver flushing.
I haven't had just a few flukes, it's been alot. Barefoot will tell you that "most" people will not see anything, only the highly infested people will be seeing the bugs through the elimination- I'm one of those people. I'm hoping that the "Hot Lemonade Gentle Liver Flush" will help to keep the debris from the dead flukes flushed out of the liver too, the liver congestion I have continues to be bad, even doing full flushes- everything clogs right back up. I did 4-5 full
Hulda Clark Liver Flushes prior to deworming, which I shouldn't have- and got a lot of green stones out of the liver (no gallbladder) one was 1
inch by 1 inch, alot of almond sized, and alot of medium to pea sized, and lots of chaff. Dr. Sutter told me that as long as I had green stones in the liver, it's an indicator of a
parasite problem, and he told me that as long as I had parasites, my liver would never heal. He was right, major
parasite problem, blocked bile ducts.
I know that I have not lived in an area that has liver fluke problems in the livestock for 12 years- I lived there 16 years prior to that. You can imagine how many families of flukes I have grown inside of me in that time.
Barefoot's site is:
http://www.barefootherbalistmh.com
click on the bottom of the page to get into the site, he has alot of good information there- but go to "store", then click on MH choice products. He has the one year supply of dewormer. At his recommended dosage, it takes 2 bottles to get through the 2 months, then he recommends 1 TB per week after that for maintenance, so 4 bottles total for one year.
These links are not for the squeemish, but by searching "liver fluke" and clicking on "image", these are what liver flukes look like in different animals' livers, and all the information about what they do. It's interesting that the Gov. is aware of what a problem flukes are in animals, and how common it is for animals to DIE from them-- how often do you hear about human's having liver flukes?? I had no idea I could have been infested- and we're ranchers, I've been around livestock all my life and know first hand what liver flukes do to cows' livers!
These also show the fluke life cycles.
