Americans have become too comfortable...too greedy...to complacent to rock the boat.

I am still reeling from a little drama here at work. This is a tiny office, but I have been talking to my one fellow secretary (who is around 40 and represents the generation coming into power) about 911 and Big Pharma...I even gave her a copy of The Medical Racket...which I don't believe she has touched yet, in spite of the fact that she has had it for nearly two months and I read some of the juicier parts to her ahead of time...and I let her borrow a copy of Loose Change and M. Moore's Farenheight 451. Her husband, an educated, fairly well to do person, who is into real estate, sailing, and sending his children to private Christian schools, (God fearing, supreme head of the household man that he is) "didn't like" 451, because, believe it or not, he is still a Bush fan, and she would not watch either one....now get this....becuase she didn't think it was fair to listen to only one person's opinion!

What in the world does she think she is doing when she watches nothing but Fox News? Don't people even think anymore?

I mentioned that to her, and she just shrugged.
