What in the hell have we become?

I am not sure what America is any more - it damned sure is not the country founded and envisioned by our forefathers.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Does that sound like America today?  When we are told what we can eat, what natural vitamins, minerals and supplements we can take, which medical practices are allowed, forced to vaccinate our children and drink water laced with carcinogens and chemical waste by-products, have 75% of our food supply contaminated by GMOs engineered to provide more bulk and withstand (and absorb) more pesticides and other chemicals, are lied to by the agencies who are supposed to protect us but instead serve the gods of profit, are taxed on everything under the sun, are required to get permits and licenses to do just about anything, have cameras installed or planned for every intersection, have presidential decrees and laws that enable total seizure of power for whatever reason "they" decide and forgive "their" war crimes in advance, have to be okay'd to get a job, and, if all goes as planned, will soon be forced to accept lower standards of living, permission to travel, more restrictions on health, and have a chip that will be required to enjoy even the most basic freedoms that will enable our every movement to be tracked and which can be turned on and off to force compliance with whatever rules and behavior they want . . . .

This is not the America of our forefathers.  It is not even remotely close to the America I grew up in not that many decades ago.  Our forefathers had a solution, one I am sure they would immediately repeat today if they were around.  After which they would be declared traitors by provision of yet other decrees:

That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government . . .

Will we have the courage before it is too late to take back our lives and our country?  Will America once again be the home of the free and the brave and one nation under God?  Or will we be sheep and cattle, and part of an enslaved worldwide herd of people under just the opposite of God?
