It does take more than iodine

I agree. It takes more than iodine. I was able to get off my meds (diabetic, high blood pressure and depression)after three months on iodine. But I am not able to eat anything I want and keep my blood Sugar levels down. I have to be prudent as apparently I am still super sensitive to carbs. Protein is a given when trying to cure depression. The amino acids are necessary and sometimes one or two days of high protein will make a big difference in mood. Combine that with Iodine and it's life changing.

Iodine makes everything work better. With a proper diet I am able to keep my blood Sugar levels within range. However, proper diet for me is not the normal diabetic diet. It is high protein and vegetables, only, with very little variance from that. Hopefully, when my body normalizes more, I will not have to be so strict.

The Sea Salt has really normalized the blood pressure. Whether that would have happened without the iodine, I do not know.
