Re: This works in my family
:-) How true, flower girl, thanks for the advice, it is well taken. Especially 20 something year olds- particularly the son. They know mom hasn't felt well for several years. We live in a very small town of around 300 people. One of our good friends that my son goes to visit first thing when he gets home asked him "where's your mom been hiding out?"... staying around home because of feeling that bad with my liver. That opened the door to my husband and I being able to tell him what we've finally figured out may have been one of the main causes, the parasite problem, liver fluke infestation.
He had told me a time or two that his stomach hurts quite often, and although he's working long, hard hours at a gold mine, he's lost alot of weight and looks pale. He doesn't have anywhere's near the appetite he used to have. I think that's why he didn't hesitate to ask "where can I get a bottle of it?", He had a bad case of cryptosporidium from our milk cow when he was little, bad enough to go to the Emergency Room in the middle of the night, along with also spending alot of time around the livestock. So, we'll see, I think it's going to make a difference for him too.
But, you're right, nagging doesn't convince them, it has to be their idea.
